| dc.description.abstract | Research focusing on an industry view of entrepreneurial ecosystems is limited. The aim of this chapter is to examine the configuration of craft entrepreneurial ecosystems. Specifically, this chapter combines the craft industry and entrepreneurial ecosystem literatures to produce a holistic discussion of craft entrepreneurial ecosystems. The findings provide new insights into the collaboration and competition that exists amongst craft makers based on their entrepreneurial behaviour. This means connecting the increased interest on handmade and authentic products to cultural needs of consumers. The findings also underlie the importance of heritage and history interactions in establishing an effect entrepreneurial strategy. | pt_PT |
