Os últimos anos trouxeram algumas mudanças na forma como a atividade turística se estrutura e organiza, com os visitantes a procurarem cada vez mais uma oferta alternativa ao Turismo de Massas, com características que permitam que os mesmos possam ter experiências mais impactantes, sensoriais e criativas. A criação de um alojamento local em ambiente rural permite assim conceber uma oferta alternativa e inovadora num contexto que, muitas vezes, é esquecido e que possibilita um potencial enorme em termos de recursos existentes, desde natureza, tipicidade rural, autenticidade até à própria comunidade existente.
A Casa Gaveta é um alojamento localizado em pleno espaço rural, na Aldeia da Fonte da Bica, que se define pela capacidade de inovação da oferta disponibilizada aos turistas, onde os mesmos podem usufruir de uma experiência com foco na criatividade, na sustentabilidade e na comunidade.
A realização deste projeto surge na procura da concretização de um sonho empreendedor, de criação de um negócio próprio, aproveitando todos os conhecimentos e competências adquiridas ao longo dos anos da licenciatura e mestrado. Pretende, ainda dar resposta a uma lacuna na oferta em termos de alojamento existente no concelho e com a necessidade de se criar uma experiência inovadora em ambiente rural que permita um menor impacto da sazonalidade no território, diversificando e melhorando a oferta turística.
Tendo em conta o contexto em que o alojamento se enquadra e a importância de criar uma experiência inovadora e autêntica, este projeto destaca ainda a relevância das parcerias com as empresas e organizações locais, com o objetivo de melhorar e diversificar a oferta existente no território, tornando possível o desenvolvimento do território de forma sustentável e com uma forte vertente social, económica e ambiental
Recent years have brought some changes in the way tourism activity is structured and organised, with visitors increasingly seeking an alternative offer to mass tourism, and with characteristics that allow them to have more impactful, sensory and creative experiences. The creation of a local accommodation in a rural environment allows to conceive an alternative and innovative offer in a context that is often forgotten, and that has a huge potential in terms of existing resources, from nature, rural typicity or authenticity to the existing community itself. Casa Gaveta is an accommodation located in the rural area, in the village of Fonte da Bica, which is defined by the ability to innovate the offer provided to tourists, where they can enjoy an experience focused on creativity, sustainability and community. The realization of this project appears in the pursuit for the achievement of an entrepreneurial dream, to create an own business, taking advantage of all the knowledge and skills acquired during the years of graduation and master's degree. It also intends to respond to a gap in the supply in terms of accommodation in the municipality and the need to create an innovative experience in a rural environment that allows a lower impact of seasonality in the territory, diversifying and improving the tourism offer. Taking into account the context in which the accommodation fits and the importance of creating an innovative and authentic experience, this project also highlights the relevance of partnerships with local businesses and organizations, in order to improve and diversify the existing supply in the territory, making possible the development of the territory in a sustainable way and with a strong social, economic and environmental aspect.
