Face à reconhecida importância das micro, pequenas e médias empresas no tecido
empresarial nacional, europeu e mundial, o debate em torno da modernização e simplificação
do Direito da Insolvência ganha igualmente relevância, procurando-se encontrar soluções
jurídicas adequadas à realidade e aos desafios das MPME. Perante a progressiva integração
e harmonização do direito europeu, importa assegurar que as MPME dispõem de
mecanismos eficazes, céleres e acessíveis, que promovam a sua recuperação e reforcem a
confiança no regime da insolvência.
Giving the recognized importance of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the national, European, and global business field, the debate surrounding the modernization and simplification of insolvency law has likewise gained prominence, as efforts made to identify legal solutions suited to the reality and challenges faced by MSMEs. In view of the progressive integration and harmonization of European law, it is essential to ensure that MSMEs have access to effective, swift, and accessible mechanisms that promote their recovery and strengthen confidence in the insolvency framework.
