In this investigation biodegradable scaffolds were obtained from mixtures of poly-(lactic acid)/poly-(ε-caprolactone) (PLA/PCL) obtained in solution, whose proportions in weight/weight (w/w) were 100/0, 90/10, 80/20, 0/100, using the technique known as bioextrusion. All blends were characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), showing the variation in the morphology and crystallinity when the material was oriented (scaffolds) and unoriented (original mixtures). By Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) the distribution of orientation, porosity and interconnectivity were observed, these are characteristics of a biodegradable scaffold.
