| dc.description.abstract | O relatório final de Estágio, insere-se no âmbito do Mestrado de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica da Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, constituindo-se como um instrumento que possibilita a reflexão sobre o desenvolvimento de competências comuns e específicas do enfermeiro especialista em Enfermagem Médico-Cirúrgica na área de Enfermagem à Pessoa em Situação Crítica e da aquisição de competências exigidas ao título de mestre. Este relatório foi redigido em duas partes. Na Parte I consiste numa análise crítico-reflexiva das competências comuns e específicas de enfermeiro especialista, adquiridas ao longo dos três estágios realizados em diferentes contextos clínicos, começando pelo estágio em serviço de urgência, o de cuidados intensivos, e por último o estágio opcional realizado num serviço de hemodiálise. A elevada complexidade e exigência assistencial, transversal aos diferentes contextos, permitiram o desenvolvimento das competências nas áreas da responsabilidade profissional, ética e legal, melhoria contínua da qualidade, gestão dos cuidados e desenvolvimento das aprendizagens profissionais, bem como competências específicas na prestação de cuidados à pessoa a vivenciar processos complexos de doença critica e/ou falência orgânica, resposta a situações de emergência, exceção e catástrofe, da conceção à ação, e intervenção na prevenção e controlo da infeção e da resistência a antimicrobianos perante a PSC, face à complexidade da situação e à necessidade de respostas em tempo útil e adequadas. A Parte II deste relatório consiste na Prática Especializada Baseada na Evidência, sobre supervisão clínica em enfermagem, onde é apresentado um estudo de investigação desenvolvido com estudantes do curso de enfermagem (2.º, 3.º e 4.º anos do curso de licenciatura em enfermagem de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior da região Centro de Portugal), com o tema: Contributos para o Processo de Supervisão Clínica em Enfermagem: Estudo de Caso de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de natureza quantitativa, com uma amostra de 114 estudantes, utilizando um questionário baseado numa escala validada. Os resultados evidenciam que as competências mais valorizadas são de natureza comunicacional, nomeadamente a capacidade de comunicar e de escutar, não se tendo verificado diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre os diferentes anos de formação. Este estudo tem como objetivos: i) identificar as características e competências dos supervisores clínicos mais valorizadas por estudantes de enfermagem; ii) verificar diferenças entre perspetivas de estudantes nos diferentes anos letivos; iii) Analisar se o ano de frequência influencia a valorização das características e competências do supervisor por parte dos estudantes. | dc.description.abstract | The final internship report is part of the Master's Degree in Nursing for People in Critical Situations at the School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, and serves as an instrument that allows reflection on the development of common and specific competencies of the specialist nurse in Medical-Surgical Nursing in the area of Nursing for People in Critical Situations and the acquisition of competencies required for the master's degree. This report was written in two parts. Part I consists of a critical-reflective analysis of the common and specific competencies of a specialist nurse, acquired throughout the three internships carried out in different clinical contexts, starting with the internship in the emergency department, the intensive care unit, and finally the optional internship carried out in a hemodialysis service. The high complexity and demands of care, across different contexts, have allowed for the development of skills in the areas of professional, ethical and legal responsibility, continuous quality improvement, care management and professional learning development, as well as specific skills in providing care to individuals experiencing complex processes of critical illness and/or organ failure, responding to emergency, exceptional and catastrophic situations, from conception to action, and intervening in the prevention and control of infection and antimicrobial resistance in the face of critical illness, given the complexity of the situation and the need for timely and appropriate responses. Part II of this report consists of Evidence-Based Expertise in Clinical Supervision in Nursing, where a research study developed with nursing students (2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of the nursing degree course at a Higher Education Institution in the Central region of Portugal) is presented, with the theme: Contributions to the Clinical Supervision Process in Nursing: A Case Study of a Higher Education Institution. This is a descriptive study of a quantitative nature, with a sample of 114 students, using a questionnaire based on a validated scale. The results show that the most valued skills are of a communicational nature, namely the ability to communicate and listen, with no statistically significant differences found between the different years of training. This study aims to: i) identify the characteristics and skills of clinical supervisors most valued by nursing students; ii) verify differences between students' perspectives in different academic years; iii) To analyze whether the year of study influences the students' valuation of the supervisor's characteristics and competencies.
