| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho explora a complexidade da identidade. É uma reflexão sobre o meu percurso pessoal e criativo, reconhecendo a dificuldade de unir as diversas facetas de conceito da identidade num único ponto. Mediante uma linguagem poética, este trabalho descreve a sensação de transformação e efemeridade, comparando o processo da criação da minha linguagem artística a um Sísifo preso num ciclo de sublimação. A descoberta de uma nova fase de fluidez permite-me conectar-me mais profundamente com o mundo, inspirando-me em pensadores como Achille Mbembe, Grada Kilomba, Giorgio Agamben e muitas e muitos mais. O trabalho destaca a importância dos espaços culturais (da casa) na formação da identidade e a busca por um entendimento mais amplo da condição humana, onde a experiência terrestre se entrelaça com a cósmica. Metáforas visuais, como, por exemplo, a do triângulo, representando a intersecção de diferentes influências culturais e artísticas, são os pilares do meu método de pesquisa relativa à história da arte. É a busca e, ao mesmo tempo, a análise de um Homecoming artístico, científico e por fim individual. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis explores the complexity of identity. It is a reflection on my personal and creative trajectory, recognizing the difficulty of uniting the different facets of the concept of identity into a single point. Using poetic language, this work describes the sensation of transformation and ephemerality, comparing the process of creating my artistic language to a Sisyphus trapped in a cycle of sublimation. The discovery of a new phase of fluidity allows me to connect more deeply with the world, drawing inspiration from thinkers such as Achille Mbembe, Grada Kilomba, Giorgio Agamben and many more. The work highlights the importance of cultural spaces (a home) in the formation of identity and the search for a broader understanding of the human condition, where the terrestrial experience intertwines with the cosmic one. Visual metaphors, such as the triangle, representing the intersection of different cultural and artistic influences, are the pillars of my research method in the history of art. It is the search and, at the same time, the analysis of an artistic, scientific and ultimately individual Homecoming. | eng |
