Abstract(s)
Partiendo de la reflexiĂłn sobre lo que la Iglesia y su Magisterio actual proponen como camino para una Pastoral especĂficamente vinculada al Turismo;
considerando las reflexiones de entidades supranacionales sobre este tema;
Starting from a reflection on what the Church and its current Magisterium propose as a path for a Pastoral Care specifically linked to Tourism; considering the reflections of supranational entities on this subject; with reference to the analysis carried out at the 5th National Conference on Tourism PastoralCare (Coimbra, 2023), this article proposes a reflection on the concept of Tourism Pastoral, pointing out the need to include dimensions such as Religious Heritage, Welcoming and Synodality, as the backbone of an action aimed at the integral development of the human being (which includes not only the dimensions of knowledge, but also ethics, economy and sustainability) and of a process of lifelong learning that allows tourism agents to adapt and form themselves as the first heralds of the Gospel.
