Abstract(s)
O presente relatório analisa a importância de promover a leitura nos mais novos, estabelecendo um paralelismo com a animação e educação artística. A animação artística promove a imaginação e a criatividade no indivíduo e quando ligada à promoção da leitura consegue cativar as crianças a ler e a explorar o mundo da leitura de forma autónoma e lúdica. A educação pela arte assume um papel importante na formação integral do ser humano, ao permitir que ele se conheça a si próprio, conheça o seu passado e possa projetar o seu futuro. A partir do conhecimento de si, vai compreendendo as suas ideias e conceções, que o irão ajudar a perceber o seu papel na sociedade. Tendo por base estas ideias, realizou-se um estudo de carácter qualitativo com características de investigação-ação. Numa etapa inicial foi realizado um questionário onde se pretendia descobrir a relação das crianças com a leitura e com o processo de aprenderem algo novo, enquanto se pretendia também conhecer a relação delas com algumas técnicas que seriam usadas ao longo do projeto e o seu à-vontade com as mesmas. Os resultados apontam para algumas disparidades: no grupo das 14 crianças que iniciaram o projeto, apenas 2 responderam que não gostavam de ler, um número inferior ao esperado. Contudo, o que se veio a verificar é que entre os que gostavam de ler eram poucos os que realmente liam ou conseguiam ler bem, ou seja, eram poucos os que realmente tinham interesse em pegar num livro próprio para a sua idade e lê-lo de uma ponta à outra, percebendo a história do livro. Assim, ao longo do projeto conseguiu-se, através da utilização das diversas linguagens artísticas como instrumentos de intervenção social, promover o interesse das crianças pela leitura, permitindo-lhes perceber que com um simples livro podem fazer muita coisa, e que esta não tem de ser monótona e servir apenas para situações de avaliação. Surgiu a seguinte pergunta de partida enquanto se pesquisava sobre o tema: De que forma se poderá promover a leitura, através do elemento lúdico, nos alunos de uma turma do 6.º ano?
Os destinatários do projeto foram crianças do 6º ano de uma escola da Região Centro. Como instrumento de recolha de dados foram utilizados o registo fotográfico, o diário de bordo, vídeos e áudios, questionários e a observação participante. Os resultados obtidos indicam que as artes têm um papel muito importante na promoção da leitura.
This report analyzes the importance of promoting reading among young people, establishing a parallel with animation and artistic education. Artistic animation promotes imagination and creativity in the individual and when linked to the promotion of reading, it manages to captivate children to read and explore the world of reading in an autonomous and playful way. Education through art assumes an important role in the integral formation of the human being, by allowing him to know himself, to know his past and to project his future. From knowing yourself, you will understand your ideas and conceptions, which will help you to understand your role in society. Based on these ideas, a qualitative study with action-research characteristics was carried out. In an initial stage, a questionnaire was carried out in which it was intended to discover the children's relationship with reading and the process of learning new things, while it was also intended to know their relationship with some techniques that would be used throughout the project and their ease with them. The results point to some disparities: in the group of 14 children who started the project, only 2 answered that they did not like to read, a lower number than expected. However, what came to be seen is that among those who liked to read, there were few who really read or could read well, that is, there were few who were really interested in picking up a book suitable for their age and reading it from one end to the other, understanding the story of the book. surface and serve only for evaluation situations. The following starting question arose while researching the subject: How can reading be promoted, through the ludic element, in the students of a 6th grade class? The recipients of the project were children in the 6th year of a school in the Center Region. As a data collection instrument, photographic records, logbooks, videos and audios, questionnaires and participant observation were used.
