| dc.description.abstract | O presente projeto pretende desenvolver, através do crochet como meio expressivo, objetos têxteis interativos com uma linguagem emocional e psicológica, traduzida numa representação visual da natureza e na construção de uma narrativa que permita ao utilizador estabelecer uma relação mais próxima com o objeto. O conceito do projeto baseia-se numa ideologia de produção sustentável e independente, que se afasta de uma lógica económica destrutiva e privilegia a natureza humana, bem como a satisfação de necessidades emocionais. O desenvolvimento dos objetos segue uma lógica política e social marcada pela construção de uma natureza não económica, cuja gratificação pessoal se relaciona com uma perspetiva emocionalmente enriquecedora. A escolha do crochet como meio expressivo para este projeto partiu não só do interesse visual e criativo pela técnica, mas também da curiosidade pela fisicalidade e flexibilidade que esta matéria-prima oferece, permitindo desafiar e compreender as suas características físicas e assumir o seu controlo. O valor simbólico presente nos objetos assume um papel fundamental na interpretação do utilizador, que os percebe como produtos autênticos e indicadores de estados de espírito. Embora apresentem tipologias distintas, ambas as peças partilham aspetos comuns pois, foram desenhadas para funcionarem como objetos interativos, respondendo a questões relacionadas com o impacto, a versatilidade, a atribuição de significado e as reações e impressões do público. Reposicionar objetos de crochet em territórios inesperados para a sua natureza habitual provoca reações diversas, gera comunicação entre o público, capta a atenção e estimula o pensamento crítico através do questionamento. Convidar o público a fazer ou continuar o objeto, em vez de apenas o observar, é uma das formas interativas deste projeto, promovendo assim a comunidade, o equilíbrio, o ânimo e a ecologia através do crochet como prática manual. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This project aims to develop, through crochet as an expressive medium, interactive textile objects with an emotional and psychological language, translated into a visual representation of nature and the construction of a narrative that allows the user to establish a closer relationship with the object. The project's concept is based on an ideology of sustainable and independent production, moving away from a destructive economic logic and prioritizing human nature, as well as the fulfillment of emotional needs. The development of the objects follows a political and social logic marked by the construction of a non-economic nature, where personal gratification is linked to an emotionally enriching perspective. The choice of crochet as an expressive medium for this project stemmed not only from a visual and creative interest in the technique but also from a curiosity about the physicality and flexibility offered by this raw material, allowing for the challenge and understanding of its physical characteristics while assuming control over them. The symbolic value present in the objects plays a fundamental role in the user's interpretation, who perceives them as authentic products and indicators of states of mind. Although they present distinct typologies, both pieces share common aspects, as they were designed to function as interactive objects, responding to questions related to impact, versatility, the attribution of meaning, and public reactions and impressions. Repositioning crochet objects in territories unexpected for their usual nature provokes diverse reactions, generates communication among the public, captures attention, and stimulates critical thinking through questioning. Inviting the public to create or continue the object, rather than merely observing it, is one of the interactive forms of this project, thus promoting community, balance, morale, and ecology through crochet as a manual practice. | eng |
