O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio curricular realizado no Município
da Marinha Grande no contexto do Mestrado em Gestão, ministrado na Escola Superior de
Tecnologia e Gestão do Instituto Politécnico de Leiria. O estágio decorreu na Divisão de
Recursos Humanos, com a duração total de 640h.
Este encontra-se estruturado em diferentes capítulos que integram a caracterização da
entidade de acolhimento, a descrição do programa de estágio, a revisão de literatura e a
apresentação da proposta de reformulação do Manual de Acolhimento, constituindo um
contributo prático para a melhoria do processo de acolhimento e integração de novos
trabalhadores numa autarquia.
O relatório apresenta as principais atividades desenvolvidas durante o estágio, destacando o
desempenho de funções administrativas na área de Higiene Saúde e Segurança no Trabalho,
a participação na tramitação dos procedimentos de contratação pública e apoio às diferentes
fases dos procedimentos de recrutamento e seleção. Paralelamente, foi realizada uma
investigação qualitativa, através da análise documental e observação participante,
permitindo assim identificar lacunas existentes e fundamentar a proposta de reformulação
apresentada. O estágio constituiu, assim, uma oportunidade de consolidação de
conhecimentos teóricos e de desenvolvimento de competências profissionais, culminando
na apresentação de uma proposta de melhoria suscetível de implementação na autarquia,
com impacto direto na otimização do processo de acolhimento e integração de novos
trabalhadores.
This report was developed within the scope of the curricular internship carried out at the Municipality of Marinha Grande, as part of the Master’s Degree in Management, taught at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. The internship took place at the Human Resources Division and had a total duration of 640 hours. The report is structured into several chapters, including the characterization of the host organization, the description of the internship program, the literature review, and the presentation of a proposal for the reformulation of the Welcome Manual, thus constituting a practical contribution to the improvement of the onboarding and integration process of new employees within the municipality. The report presents the main activities carried out during the internship, highlighting the performance of administrative tasks in the area of Occupational Health and Safety, participation in public procurement procedures, and support in the different phases of recruitment and selection processes. In parallel, a qualitative study was conducted through document analysis and ethnographic observation, allowing the identification of existing gaps and supporting the proposed reformulation. The internship thus represented an opportunity to consolidate theoretical knowledge and develop professional skills, culminating in the presentation of a proposal for improvement that may be implemented within the municipality, with a direct impact on optimizing the onboarding and integration process of new employees.
