dc.description.abstractMandibular symphysis plates, used to heal fractures, can be made from different materials, normally titanium or CoCr alloys. In this work these two materials are tested and compared in order to study the plate's performance in fracture stabilization. This is a computational work performed with the advice of Brazilian maxoillofacial surgeons.eng
