The purpose of this study is to determine the potential influence of the presence of CSR practices in the workplace on workers’ attitudes, particularly at Turnover Intentions (TI) level. The study intends to evaluate the importance attached to issues of CSR, to determine whether the CSR practices are influential upon workers’ TI and identify possible mediators and moderators in this link. Specifically, we consider Leader Member Exchange (LMX) as a mediator. Mallory & Rupp (2015) suggested a need for much more fine-grain theorizing with regard to the interactive effects of contextual moderators of CSR-LMX relationships. We also analyse the data to establish whether the impact of CSR practices on employees is moderated by their Perceived External Prestige (PEP), which have been rarely explored. This study’s empirical findings will contribute to solidify our knowledge about the internal mechanisms of CSR within organisations. The findings will also enhance employers understanding about the role of CSR and organisational image at individual employer level behaviour. The investigation uses cross-sectional data obtained from a sample of private sector workers. Data collection is based on a structured questionnaire, and structural equations modelling are employed to test the proposed model.pt_PT
