DALL-E NO ROTEIRO D’AR-TE INCLUSIVA LINGUAGENS QUE PINTAM, OLHARES QUE CRIAM

dc.description.abstractA existência de um sistema de Inteligência Artificial (IA) que permite a criação de imagens generativas a partir de palavras ou frases é uma nova área de pesquisa. A incontestável necessidade de efetuar e partilhar evidências sobre a qualidade e eficácia de currículos que integrem inteligência artificial, assim como a necessidade de oferecer e envolver os alunos na construção de competências integradas em sistemas digitais inovadores têm sido prementes nas políticas educativas dos governos e organismos internacionais. Este trabalho de investigação assenta numa metodologia de investigação-ação, que decorreu da necessidade da investigadora, que também é professora de Educação Especial, contribuir para uma maior compreensão dos desafios e potencialidades da Arte Digital, com recurso à IA Dall-E, analisando o seu contributo para o enriquecimento do currículo de alunos com Programa Individual Específico (PEI), ao abrigo do Decreto-Lei nº 54/2018, de 6 de julho. Foi desenhado, implementado e analisado um Roteiro de Aprendizagens, na perspetiva de investigar a sua relevância enquanto instrumento na regulação de aprendizagens, no desenvolvimento de competências essenciais e aferir o que representaram as atividades propostas para três alunos que nelas participaram. Os resultados apresentam um cenário em que a arte digital com recurso a IA pode ser uma mais valia para alunos com necessidades específicas acentuadas, com impacto positivo na motivação para a aprendizagem na área das artes, acrescentando oportunidades de igualdade. O sistema permitiu desenvolver habilidades de comunicação e expressão visual, ampliando o nível de participação e competências no processo criativo dos alunos. O Dall-E pode ser um auxílio na modelação e representação de ideias mais complexas e completas, dada a flexibilidade, variedade e possibilidade de edição de imagens.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractThe existence of an AI system that allows the creation of generative images from words or phrases is a new area of research. The undeniable need to carry out and share evidence on the quality and effectiveness of curricula that integrate artificial intelligence (IA), as well as the need to offer and involve students in building integrated competences in innovative digital systems, have been a pressing matter in the educational policies of governments and international organizations. This research work is based on an action-research methodology, which arose from the need of the researcher, who is also a Special Education teacher, to contribute to a greater understanding of the challenges and potential of Digital Art, using AI Dall-E, analyzing its contribution to enrich the curriculum of students with a Specific Individual Program (PEI), under Decree-Law no. 54/2018, of 6 July. A learning script was designed, implemented and analyzed, with a view to investigate its relevance, as an instrument in the regulation of learning, in the development of essential competences and in assessing what the proposed activities represented for the students who participate in them, without generalizing the obtained results. The results present a scenario where digital art using AI can be an added value for students with accentuated specific needs, with positive impact on motivation for learning the field of arts, which adds the opportunity to “Be equal”. The system allows developing skills in communication and visual expression, expanding the level of participation and skill in the creative process. Dall-E can be an aid in the modeling and representation of more complex and complete ideas, given the flexibility, variety and possibility of image editing.pt_PT
