| dc.description.abstract | A presente dissertação propõe-se investigar a experiência do espaço noturno, procurando compreender de que forma a ausência de luz solar e a predominância da luz artificial transformam a perceção da paisagem e a relação do sujeito com o espaço urbano. A investigação parte de uma prática artística e explora a noite enquanto território vivo, mutável e sensível, no qual a luz, a sombra, o visível e o invisível contribuem para uma experiência subjetiva marcada pela ambiguidade e pelo sublime que emerge do contacto com o desconhecido. Neste contexto, surge a figura do noctâmbulo como figura poética que dá forma a essa relação afetiva e contemplativa com a noite. O projeto foi desenvolvido a partir de uma prática de errância urbana e da captação de imagens na noite, culminando na criação de Em Lucidez Me Perco, uma vídeo-instalação que procura prolongar a experiência noturna e transpor as sensações vividas na noite para o espaço instalativo, através de uma exploração da relação entre imagem fixa e imagem em movimento, espaço e espectador. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | This dissertation aims to investigate the experience of nocturnal space, seeking to understand how the absence of sunlight and the predominance of artificial light transform the perception of the landscape and the relationship between subject and urban space. The research emerges from an artistic practice and explores the night as a living, mutable, and sensitive territory, in which light, shadow, the visible and the invisible contribute to a subjective experience marked by ambiguity and by a sense of the sublime that emerges from an encounter with the unknown. In this context, the figure of the noctambulist emerges as a poetic construct that gives form to this affective and contemplative relationship with the night. The project was developed through a practice of urban drifting and the capture of images at night, culminating in the creation of Em Lucidez Me Perco, a video installation that seeks to extend the nocturnal experience and transpose the sensations lived during the night into the installation space, through an exploration of the relationship between still and moving image, space and spectator. | eng |
