| dc.description.abstract | The phenomenon of internationalization is becoming increasingly common for small and medium-sized companies in Spain. This report presents the development of the internationalization plan of the company Quipu, and accompanies the processes conducted with literature that justifies the operations. The study was conducted during an internship period within the company, through theoretical research, interviews with representatives of the area, training seminars, and courses provided by the company. The results suggest that due to a worldwide growth in the technology of the sector, small and medium companies are at a key moment for their internationalization. Moreover, the correct structure of a development plan in new markets will allow them to take advantage of this opportunity, and consequently, to succeed. However, it seems that, even if the theory supports companies’ development processes and shows that they can benefit from the current situation to grow, conditioning barriers will keep being generated, and the customer's perspective will create new limitations. | pt_PT |
