| dc.description.abstract | A Inteligência Competitiva e a sua influência na Competitividade dos Municípios portugueses são a temática analisada na presente dissertação. Na época de mudança que o mundo atual está a passar, os Municípios devem criar condições para conseguirem ser os melhores e ganhar vantagens competitivas. Um indivíduo pode ser considerado inteligente de acordo com a sua realidade, histórico de vida e capacidade de aprendizagem contínua. Tal como o indivíduo também uma empresa pode ser considerada “inteligente” segundo as suas atitudes na tomada de decisão, criatividade ou competências adquiridas para solucionar problemas. A Inteligência Competitiva é uma prática mundial e funciona como ferramenta estratégica de suporte à decisão. Tem como objetivo principal a recolha, seleção e tratamento da informação para ajudar no processo de tomada de decisão. A Inteligência Competitiva deve ser uma das componentes da cultura organizacional dos Municípios, estar presente em todos os processos de gestão e deve ser uma responsabilidade de todos os decisores. Neste sentido, são revistos conceitos, analisadas as ferramentas da Inteligência Competitiva, apresentado um estudo sobre a sua utilização nos Municípios e a sua influência na competitividade. A investigação baseou-se na realização de um inquérito aos Municípios localizados na Região Centro de Portugal sendo que da análise dos resultados apurados é possível concluir que a competitividade dos Municípios é influenciada pela utilização de ferramentas da Inteligência Competitiva. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The Competitive Intelligence and its influence on the competitiveness of the Portuguese municipalities are the subject analyzed in this dissertation. At the time of change that the world today is happening, the municipalities should create conditions to achieve to be the best and gain competitive advantage. An individual can be considered intelligent according to their reality, life history and capacity for continuous learning. As the individual also a company can be considered “intelligent " according to their attitudes in decision making, creativity or skills acquired to solve problems. The Competitive Intelligence is a global practice and works as a strategic tool for decision support. Its main objectives are to gathering, selection and processing of the information to help in the decision making process. The Competitive Intelligence must be one of the components of the organizational culture of the municipalities, being present in all management processes and should be a responsibility of all decision makers. In this sense, concepts are reviewed, analyzed the tools of Competitive Intelligence, and presented a study of its use in municipalities and their influence on competitiveness. The research was based on the inquiry to the municipalities located in the central region of Portugal and that the analysis of the results obtained it can be concluded that the competitiveness of the municipalities is influenced by the use of Competitive Intelligence tools. | por |
