dc.description.abstract	Este trabalho nasceu da vontade de saber como o incidente crítico (Josso, 2010) chamado guerra, obriga à reinvenção de pessoas que são retiradas à força das suas casas e das suas terras, onde já estavam enraizadas há tantos anos. Através de duas histórias de vida bastante distintas, contadas através de entrevistas, em forma de conversas informais (Burgess, 2001), foi possível chegar ao olhar de dois refugiados acerca de si mesmos, da sua vida antes, durante e depois das guerras pelas quais passaram. Consegui saber de que forma a guerra alterou o percurso de vida dos meus sujeitos de estudo e todos os outros sujeitos que vão aparecendo no decorrer das histórias. As trans(formações) de pensamento, de identidade, de pertença, são apresentadas de forma mais profunda, mas também todas aquelas identidades assassinas (Maalouf, 1999) que os obrigaram a negar a sua própria vontade e as pessoas críticas positivas que apareceram como mediadores para uma nova realidade, uma nova vida e até novas vontades. Falar em refugiados está na ordem do dia, muito por conta da atual guerra da Ucrânia, que eu mesma aproveitei para a minha investigação, mas falar com refugiados é dar voz aos próprios intervenientes ou vítimas diretas das guerras. Importa referir que a diferença entre ser jornalista, a profissão do relato, até por vezes sensacionalista, e um mediador intercultural, que tem a capacidade de intervir no social, tem nas suas mãos o poder de transformar uma entrevista numa simbiose de conhecimento, de pôr o outro a pensar e a nós mesmos exatamente nesta mesma equipa a que chamamos “humanos”. Através deste trabalho foi possível entender, com recurso às vozes dos entrevistados as transformações que a guerra provocou nas suas vidas e de que forma a mediação intercultural foi importante nesse processo.	pt_PT
dc.description.abstract	This work was born from the willingness to know how the critical incident (Josso,2010), named war, forces the reinvention of people who are forcibly removed from their homes and lands, where they had been rooted for so many years. Through two very different life stories, told in the form of interviews, in an informal conversation (Burguess,2001), it was possible to gain insight from two refugees about themselves, their lives before, during and after the wars they went through. I was able to find out how the war altered the life trajectory of my study subjects and all the other subjects who appear throughout the stories. The trans(formations) of thought, identity, belonging, are presented in a deeper way, but also the identity of the assassins (Amin Maalouf, 1999) which forced them to deny their own will and the positive critical people who appeared as mediators of a new reality, a new life and even new desires. (Kelchtermans, 1995: 8)”. Talking about refugees is a present affair, largely due to the current Ukraine war, which I took advantage of in my research, but speaking to refugees is to give a voice to those involved or closely affected victims of wars. Perhaps, I may say that this is the difference between a journalist, the reporting profession, and sometimes even sensationalist, and a cultural mediator, who has the capacity to intervene in society, who has in his/her hand the power to transform an interview in a knowledge symbiosis, to cause the other to think, and to cause ourselves to be put exactly on the same team which we call ‘humans’. Through this work it was possible to understand, through the voices of the interviewees, the transformations that the war caused in their lives and how intercultural mediation was important in this process.	pt_PT
