Thus, we face the possibility of opening the discursive space entitled “Cinema and its contribution to the perception of the current world”, to the universe of animation. Our observations were directed towards the construction and deconstruction of stereotypes related to the female figure, in social and cultural contexts, in the east and in the west.. In this scenario, female Disney characters were analyzed, observing the transition from the princess imaginary, beautiful but with little autonomy to the heroine character, endowed with beauty, strength and autonomy and the heroines present in Anime.
