- Exploring Wine Tourism in the Lisbon Wine Region - Municipality of Cadaval: An Analysis of Online ReviewsPublication . Costa, Alexandre Miguel Jorge; Brasão, Inês Paulo Cordeiro; Rafael, Célia Maria Conceição SalmimThis study explores wine tourism in the Lisbon wine region, more precisely in the municipality of Cadaval, located in Portugal. It analyzes online reviews and comments to identify the main themes and dimensions of interest for wine tourists. The research aims to better understand motivations regarding the consumption of wine tourism by exploring qualitative data from online comments and reviews on online platforms such as Google Reviews, a Google services related tool where comments and reviews can be publicly shared online, which is the chosen platform in this study. To this end, exploratory research strategy was chosen, followed by a comprehensive review analysis and two approaches that have been carried out on the comments: a word and text analysis for initial insights and probing of the raw data, followed by a more robust thematic analysis that clarified ten themes of importance from which were refined into four dimensions. A thematic analysis was applied to systematically code and categorize the data, that being the online comments gathered, allowing for the identification of key factors influencing wine tourism experiences in the region and its characteristics.
