Abstract(s)

Engaging community in several projects, regardless the particular features that each member can have it is important to promote leisure, well-being and life quality in citizen lives. Therefore it is important to foster strategies that allow everyone, without any kind of discrimination, to participate in different activities. This paper aims to disclosure Perspetivas Project that emerge with the objective of promoting innovative interventions that allow social inclusion of people with intellectual disability, increasing their capacity to create audiovisual works. Perspetivas consist in training activities of audiovisual language to people with intellectual disability, in order to allow them create audiovisual products. Besides promoting leisure experiences, Perspetivas also has the potential to the acquisition and/or development of different skills, such as capacity of self-expression and communication. The project implementation was powerful and enriching, given the collaborative work that has benefited all the involved persons, contributing to promote a new strategy of social innovation.
