Este trabalho investiga de que forma organizações sociais conciliam impacto e sustentabilidade, através de um estudo qualitativo com base em entrevistas a empreendedores, especialistas e atores institucionais. Os resultados evidenciam um ecossistema em crescimento, marcado por práticas criativas de financiamento e parcerias, mas limitado por barreiras estruturais como o acesso instável a recursos e a ausência de políticas consolidadas. Apesar destes constrangimentos, emergem oportunidades de colaboração intersetorial e inovação, que reforçam a resiliência das iniciativas. O estudo contribui para a literatura, ao mapear dinâmicas do ecossistema português e oferece recomendações práticas para decisores políticos, investidores de impacto e empreendedores sociais.
